Trützschler Commissions World’s First 4.2 m Double Carding ATB Line in China

Trützschler has officially delivered and commissioned the world’s first 4.2-meter double carding Air-Through-Bonding (ATB) line at Wisdom Greentech Company Limited, marking a new global milestone in high-speed nonwovens production. The installation represents not only a technological breakthrough but also Trützschler’s 100th and 101st ATB cards delivered worldwide.

The new line is installed at Wisdom-Greentech’s facility in Fujian and becomes the company’s 13th Trützschler ATB line, underscoring the long-standing strategic partnership between the two companies. The advanced configuration features a 4.2 m working width and a double carding system, offering a significant upgrade from conventional 3.8 m ATB setups.

A Breakthrough in High-Speed Production and Fiber Precision

Engineered for the stable, high-speed production of ultra-fine fibers (0.4D, 0.6D, 0.8D), the new ATB line also delivers precise processing of conventional hydrophilic and water-repellent fibers.

Compared with existing 3.8 m systems, the 4.2 m line achieves:

  • Higher production efficiency
  • Lower operating costs
  • Improved competitiveness
  • Equivalent product quality at higher working speeds

This marks a significant advancement for manufacturers aiming to scale up output while maintaining consistent, top-grade nonwoven quality.
