Trützschler Nonwovens has appointed Dr. Ingo Mählmann as its new Director Sales & Marketing, strengthening its commercial leadership and international market expertise.
Mählmann joins the company with more than 17 years of experience in the global nonwovens industry. His background covers Spunbond, Meltblown and Airlaid technologies, as well as sales, business development and customer relations.
Industry Experience Across Key Nonwoven Technologies
In his new role, Mählmann will contribute his experience across several major nonwoven production technologies and support Trützschler Nonwovens in developing its relationships with manufacturers worldwide.
Spunbond, Meltblown and Airlaid technologies serve a broad range of markets, including hygiene, filtration, medical products, wipes, absorbent materials and other technical applications. Knowledge across these processes can support a more comprehensive understanding of the investment and production requirements facing nonwoven manufacturers.
Trützschler Nonwovens said Mählmann’s international industry perspective and customer-oriented approach would strengthen its ability to develop innovative, efficient and more sustainable production solutions.
His appointment comes as nonwoven producers face growing pressure to improve energy and material efficiency, increase production flexibility and respond to evolving sustainability requirements. Machinery suppliers must therefore combine technical development with close customer engagement and a clear understanding of regional market conditions.
