CBL Embroidery Machinery Co., Ltd., a renowned name in China’s high-end embroidery machinery sector, proudly showcased its latest technological breakthroughs at the ITCPE 2025 exhibition in Guangzhou. In an exclusive interview, Mr. Henry Xu, Marketing Manager at CBL, shared the company’s vision, product innovation, and global strategy amid evolving market dynamics.
Strengthening Domestic Presence and Global Outreach
“We chose to participate in ITCPE 2025 as it remains one of the most influential platforms for promoting textile machinery in China and globally,” said Mr. Xu. “As China continues to be a major hub for textile equipment, this exhibition helps us reinforce our brand visibility and expand our domestic market share.”
CBL, already a recognized leader in China, aims to capitalize on this momentum to reach emerging markets, particularly in Southeast Asia. Countries like Vietnam, Cambodia, and Indonesia, with their robust garment export sectors, have shown increasing demand for precision embroidery equipment. CBL’s strategic focus is to position itself as a top-tier alternative to leading Japanese and German brands, offering exceptional quality at a competitive price.
Product Innovation and Technological Advancements
Staying true to its philosophy of continuous innovation, CBL unveiled several high-performance embroidery machines at the exhibition. These included the new 1500 SPM super high-speed model, six-card recording devices for flat machines, and a 4-card beads + 2-card sequin machine, which is gaining popularity in niche markets.
“Our R&D investment accounts for about 15% of annual turnover,” Mr. Xu emphasized. “This commitment has resulted in the successful development of high-end machines that meet the exacting standards of international clients.”
CBL’s technology is tailored to meet the increasing global demand for automation, efficiency, and durability. With a focus on simplifying operations, reducing labor dependency, and enhancing productivity, their machines are engineered for modern manufacturing needs.
Market Resilience Amid Global Trade Shifts
While global tariffs—especially those involving the U.S.—pose challenges for many exporters, Mr. Xu noted that CBL’s diversified strategy has helped mitigate the impact. “So far, we haven’t seen a major decline in performance. We continue to perform well in China and Southeast Asia,” he explained.
In regions such as the Middle East and Africa, CBL is exploring growth opportunities, albeit cautiously. “Markets like Iran, Egypt, and Turkey have unique needs, particularly in embroidery for sarees and traditional fabrics. Although we serve these needs, our competitive edge lies in high-end garment machinery,” he added.
Vision for the Future: Smart and Intelligent Embroidery Solutions
Looking ahead, CBL is committed to driving the next generation of embroidery machinery. “Future machines must be smarter, more efficient, and highly reliable,” Mr. Xu concluded. “We are working towards integrating intelligent features to help our clients reduce labor costs, boost production, and stay globally competitive.”
With a clear focus on innovation, quality, and market expansion, CBL Embroidery Machinery is well-positioned to shape the future of the global embroidery industry.
