Texhibition Istanbul 2025 to Spotlight Sustainability and Innovation in Textiles

The upcoming edition of Texhibition Istanbul, organised by ITKIB Fairs for the Istanbul Textile Exporters’ Association (İTHİB), will take place from 10–12 September 2025 at the Istanbul Expo Center. Covering a space of 40,000 m², the event is set to host more than 500 exhibitors and attract over 25,000 professional visitors from key markets across the EU, UK, US, North Africa, and the Middle East.

Global Platform for Leading Manufacturers

Industry leaders including Sanko, Kasar & Dual Textile, İSKUR Group, Küçükçalık Textile, Söktaş, Sasa, İpeker, and Antik Dantel will showcase their latest products and technologies. Exhibits will cover the full spectrum of the textile value chain: woven and knitted fabrics, yarns, embroidery, printing, accessories, denim, and artificial leather.
Texhibition has rapidly become a global meeting point for sourcing, innovation, and networking, strengthening Türkiye’s role as a world-class textile hub.

Specialized Hubs for Sustainability and Tech

The fair features several specialised areas to highlight emerging trends and innovations:

  • Blue Black Texhibition (Hall 7): Dedicated to denim and sustainable design, with exhibitors such as Bossa, ISKUR, Atlas Denim, Isko, and Realtex presenting eco-friendly innovations.
  • Innovation Hub (Hall 8): Curated by designers Arzu Kaprol and Filiz Tunca, this section focuses on smart textiles, biotech fabrics, and AI-driven production processes, merging technology with creative design.
  • Trends Lab (Halls 4 & 5): An immersive space exploring themes of digitalisation, sustainability, and future consumer demands.
  • ReValue Stock Hub: Promoting resource efficiency through the reuse and repurposing of materials.

Panels and seminars throughout the fair will further explore innovation, sustainability, and the evolving role of technical textiles in global markets.

Türkiye’s Global Textile Strength

Türkiye remains a powerhouse in global textiles, ranking as the fifth-largest exporter worldwide and the second-largest supplier to the EU with annual textile exports worth $11.5 billion. In 2024, combined textile and apparel exports reached $27 billion.
From January to August 2025, Türkiye’s exports of textiles and raw materials totaled $7.6 billion, marking a 1.2% year-on-year increase and representing 4.3% of the country’s total exports. Growth was particularly strong in emerging markets, with exports to Africa rising 19.1% and to Asia up 26%.

A Driving Force for Global Trade

İTHİB Chairman Ahmet Öksüz emphasised the fair’s growing international significance:

“Texhibition Istanbul has rapidly developed into one of the most important global platforms for the textile industry. With every edition, we not only connect Türkiye’s strong and diverse manufacturers with international buyers, but also demonstrate how innovation, sustainability, and creative vision can shape the future of textiles.”

Texhibition Istanbul 2025 will reaffirm Türkiye’s position as a leader in textile manufacturing, innovation, and sustainable practices, setting the tone for the industry’s next chapter.
