Bony Tekstil, in partnership with Elsewedy Industrial Development, is investing approximately $100 million to establish a state-of-the-art integrated textile production facility in 10th of Ramadan City, near Cairo. Spanning 120,000 square meters, the project is positioned as Egypt’s export gateway to both African and European markets.
Boosting Regional Trade and Employment
Scheduled to commence operations by the end of 2026, the facility is expected to create 2,500 direct and indirect jobs. Bony Tekstil Board Chairman Hasan Gülkaya stressed the strategic significance of the investment, noting that it will play a pivotal role in enhancing regional export capacity in addition to expanding production.
Strong Support and Competitive Advantages
The investment is being implemented with the backing of the Egyptian Trade Representative Office and GAFI (General Authority for Investment and Free Zones). It underscores Egypt’s attractive infrastructure, investment incentives, and strategic location, which continue to draw significant interest from global textile manufacturers.
