USA Global Trade LLC, a Miami-based sourcing and trade company, has unveiled a strategic binational textile initiative aimed at deepening commercial and production ties between the United States and Latin America.
The new initiative focuses on two core objectives: promoting the use of U.S.-grown cotton in both domestic and Latin American spinning mills, and exploring the development of circular knitting operations in North Carolina or other key U.S. textile hubs. The goal is to create cleaner, more regionally integrated supply chains that start with American fiber and add value closer to home.
“With over 20 years of experience in global yarn sourcing, I see strong potential to build a two-way bridge,” said César Cary, a textile engineer at USA Global Trade. “Latin American producers are eager to work with high-quality U.S. fibers, while the U.S. textile industry is well positioned to benefit from regional value chains and nearshoring strategies.”
USA Global Trade serves as a procurement partner for small- and medium-sized textile businesses across Latin America, sourcing a wide range of yarns including DTY polyester, poly/cotton blends, viscose, nylon, spandex, and rubber threads. The company also works closely with VANITEX, a leading Peruvian exporter of knitted fabrics.
Through this initiative, USA Global Trade aims to not only strengthen its supplier and customer networks but also engage more deeply with the U.S. textile ecosystem via partnerships with industry associations and collaborative platforms.
By combining its sourcing expertise with local partnerships and a focus on regional integration, the company hopes to contribute to a more resilient and competitive textile industry across the Americas—positioning both U.S. and Latin American players for long-term growth in a rapidly evolving global market.
