Youngone Corporation has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Korean circular knitting machine manufacturer Sam Sung Machinery, also known as 3S Machinery, to strengthen production efficiency and supply chain stability across its international manufacturing operations.
Under the agreement, Youngone will install 180 Korean-made circular knitting machines at its production facilities in Uzbekistan, India and Kenya over the next two years. The investment is valued at approximately KRW 10 billion.
Youngone strengthens global knitting operations
Circular knitting machines are essential equipment for producing knitted fabrics used in T-shirts, sportswear and other apparel products. By continuously knitting yarn into a tubular structure, these machines offer high productivity while supporting consistent fabric quality.
Youngone said the new machinery will be installed sequentially across its overseas production bases. The deployment is expected to create a more reliable equipment supply system while improving manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
The investment will also support the company’s vertically integrated production model, through which it manufactures fabrics and raw materials in addition to finished apparel and equipment.
Youngone currently produces apparel and gear for leading global outdoor brands, with major manufacturing activities across countries including Bangladesh, Vietnam and Uzbekistan.
Partnership supports South Korea’s textile machinery industry
Youngone described the agreement as more than a conventional machinery procurement contract, highlighting its potential to strengthen cooperation between Korean textile manufacturers and domestic machinery suppliers.
“This agreement goes beyond a simple equipment purchase. It is a starting point for practising mutual growth with the domestic textile machinery industry and jointly enhancing global supply chain competitiveness,” said Park Jae-yong, President of Youngone Corporation.
He added that Youngone intends to expand its collaboration with competitive Korean companies to establish a more stable supply chain and support the sustainable development of the country’s textile industry.
“We will continue to expand cooperation with excellent domestic companies to build a stable supply chain and contribute to the sustainable growth of the domestic textile industry and the strengthening of its global competitiveness,” Park said.

Improving efficiency and quality competitiveness
The installation of the 180 circular knitting machines is expected to help Youngone increase production efficiency, ensure more consistent fabric quality and reduce its dependence on external equipment supply chains.
The partnership also reflects the growing importance of advanced textile machinery in global apparel production as manufacturers seek greater automation, productivity and quality control.
Through its cooperation with Sam Sung Machinery, Youngone aims to combine Korean textile machinery technology with its international manufacturing network, supporting more resilient and competitive apparel production across Asia and Africa.
