Crystal International Joins Textile Exchange to Strengthen Sustainability and Circularity Efforts

Crystal International Group Limited has reaffirmed its sustainability leadership by becoming a Partner Member of Textile Exchange, the global non-profit dedicated to accelerating positive environmental change across the fibre and materials sector. The partnership supports the Group’s Crystal Sustainability Vision 2030, with a focus on climate action, responsible sourcing, and circular manufacturing.

Strengthening Sustainable Manufacturing

More than 90% of Crystal International’s factories are certified under international sustainability standards such as the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and Organic Content Standard (OCS). At its vertically integrated Vietnam fabric mill, over 55% of raw materials carry GRS or Recycled Claim Standard certifications — reflecting the Group’s commitment to using preferred sustainable materials.

By joining Textile Exchange’s community of over 800 global members, Crystal International aims to accelerate the adoption of preferred fibres and sustainable practices across its global supply chain.

Innovation Through Collaboration

Crystal International’s CirClimate collection, featuring biodegradable and climate-adaptive fabrics derived from sustainable wood pulp and recycled waste, represents its ongoing investment in fibre innovation. In parallel, the Group has implemented a Corporate Waste Management System Framework, promoting textile-to-textile recycling and data transparency.

Five of the company’s factories have piloted data-sharing on the Reverse Resources platform, improving traceability of textile waste and enabling circularity at scale.

“Combining the tools established by Textile Exchange with our own expertise, we aspire to connect with pioneers and innovators to co-develop more nature-friendly fashion products through collective action,” said Catherine Chiu, Vice President – Corporate Quality & Sustainability at Crystal International.
