Drip by drip Partners With Eco Age to Advance Water Justice in Global Fashion

Despite decades of development, 2.2 billion people worldwide still lack access to safe drinking water, while the fashion industry continues to be one of the most water-intensive sectors. Producing just one pair of jeans consumes approximately 9,000 litres of water across cotton farming, dyeing, and finishing processes.

Against this backdrop, drip by drip, the non-profit dedicated to addressing water scarcity caused by textile production, has announced a major step forward: a strategic partnership with Eco Age to elevate water justice within the global fashion industry and accelerate its mission to provide one million people with clean water access.

Eco Age to Strengthen Communication, Advocacy, and ImpactConnecting Community Projects With Global Fashion Platforms

Founded in 2018, drip by drip operates at the intersection of water, textiles, and social impact—delivering practical solutions through industry education, community water infrastructure, and grassroots engagement in textile-producing regions.

As part of its new collaboration, the organisation has appointed Eco Age as its strategic PR, marketing and communications agency. Eco Age will help amplify drip by drip’s community-level impact across global fashion platforms, ensuring that water justice becomes a central, actionable element of sustainability conversations, not a distant ideal.

A Proven Track Record of Impact

To date, drip by drip has completed 114 community water projects across Bangladesh, Pakistan, India and Ethiopia, impacting more than 280,000 people. These regions bear the brunt of water extraction and pollution linked to fashion supply chains.

“Our ambition is clear: to reach one million people with access to clean water,” said Amira Jehia, Executive Director of drip by drip. “To do that, our work needs to travel further. Eco Age understands how to bring deep issues into the mainstream fashion conversation without losing integrity or impact.”

A Partnership Designed to Mobilise Real Change

Eco Age, known for its work in sustainability strategy and storytelling, will help bridge drip by drip’s operational impact with audiences capable of driving systemic change—brands, suppliers, standards organisations, and global media.

“drip by drip is already delivering results. Our role is to ensure their impact is understood, shared and supported across the fashion ecosystem,” noted John Higginson, CEO of Eco Age.

Toward a Future Where Water Justice Is Central to Fashion Sustainability

Together, the two organisations aim to transform awareness into tangible action, ensuring that clean water access becomes an integral, practical and measurable part of fashion’s sustainability agenda.
