Uzbekistan Debuts National Pavilion at allfashion sourcing Cape Town

Uzbekistan made its debut at allfashion sourcing Cape Town with a national pavilion, marking the country’s first official participation in the South African fashion and textile exhibition as it seeks to expand its presence in African markets.

Organized with the support of the Agency for the Development of the Light Industry under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the pavilion showcased the Made in Uzbekistan brand, featuring a selection of leading textile manufacturers and highlighting the country’s growing export capabilities.

The Uzbek delegation welcomed several high-level officials during the exhibition, including Rukhullo Zikrillaev, Deputy Director of the Agency for the Development of the Light Industry, and Fuat Bakhtiyorov, Counsellor for Trade and Economic Affairs of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the State of Qatar, who visited the national pavilion and met with participating companies.

BMCA Uzbekistan Supports International Expansion

As the official Sales Partner of Messe Frankfurt in Central Asia, BMCA Uzbekistan coordinated the national pavilion and provided on-site support to participating companies throughout the exhibition. The organization also facilitated business meetings between Uzbek manufacturers and prospective international buyers and partners.

The successful debut at allfashion sourcing Cape Town represents another milestone in Uzbekistan’s strategy to strengthen the global visibility of its textile industry and diversify export destinations.

By connecting local manufacturers with international sourcing professionals, BMCA Uzbekistan continues to support Central Asian textile companies in accessing new markets through participation in leading international trade exhibitions.
