Texhibition Istanbul 2026 once again demonstrated its growing importance as a leading international sourcing platform, bringing together global buyers, manufacturers, and designers in Istanbul amid a rapidly evolving textile landscape.
Held from March 4–6, 2026, at the Istanbul Expo Center, the exhibition hosted more than 500 exhibitors across five halls, covering a total area of 42,850 square meters. The event attracted 19,325 trade visitors, including 5,565 international buyers from Europe, Asia, the Middle East, North Africa, and North America, underlining its expanding global reach.
Comprehensive Showcase Across the Textile Value Chain
Texhibition Istanbul presented a full spectrum of the textile industry, from yarns and fabrics to accessories, printing, embroidery, and denim. Knitted and woven fabrics dominated the exhibition with 336 exhibitors, followed by accessories, printing, embroidery, denim, and yarn producers.
In a period marked by geopolitical uncertainty and supply chain shifts, the fair served as a critical meeting point for industry stakeholders seeking reliable sourcing partners and flexible production solutions.
Turkey’s Strategic Advantage in Global Sourcing
The exhibition highlighted the strength of Turkey’s textile industry, which combines integrated production, high quality, and rapid delivery capabilities. With an annual production value of approximately $78 billion, Turkey remains one of the world’s leading textile and apparel producers.
Its proximity to Europe continues to provide a significant logistical advantage, enabling faster delivery through land transportation—an increasingly important factor as brands shift toward agile and nearshoring supply chain models.
Industry representatives emphasized that, in times of uncertainty, global brands are prioritizing partners that can offer speed, flexibility, and consistent quality, positioning Turkey as a preferred sourcing destination.
Sustainability and Innovation Take Center Stage
Sustainability remained a central theme throughout the exhibition. Many exhibitors showcased innovations focused on reducing water and energy consumption, as well as circular materials and recycling technologies.
The Innovation Hub, curated by leading industry experts, presented forward-looking materials such as self-dyeing cotton, biodegradable textiles, and advanced yarn technologies. These developments reflect the industry’s ongoing transition toward more sustainable and resource-efficient production models.
Denim Innovation Highlights Turkey’s Global Position
The Blue Black Denim area once again attracted strong attention, reinforcing Turkey’s role as a global denim hub. Leading manufacturers presented innovations in sustainable dyeing, advanced fabric structures, and environmentally responsible finishing processes.
Interactive workshops and expert sessions further explored how denim continues to evolve as both a technical textile and a creative design platform.
Strong International Participation and Business Activity
Visitors from more than 95 countries attended the exhibition, with key buyer markets including Italy, Germany, Spain, the United States, and the Netherlands. Major global brands were present, reflecting the event’s importance as a sourcing destination.
Exhibitors reported high-quality business meetings and strong engagement, with many highlighting the event’s professional atmosphere and its effectiveness in building long-term partnerships.
A Platform Beyond Trade
In addition to sourcing opportunities, Texhibition Istanbul offered a comprehensive seminar and trend program covering topics such as digital transformation, artificial intelligence, sustainable materials, and future consumer trends.
New initiatives such as the ReValue Stock Hub demonstrated how circular approaches can unlock new commercial opportunities by repurposing surplus materials.
