The «Serdar» cotton spinning mill, operating under the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan and located in Dashoguz, continues to consolidate its reputation as one of the region’s leading producers of Nm 20/1 cotton yarn—a product highly sought after both domestically and internationally. By the end of this year, the mill plans to produce at least 1,763 tons of yarn, widely used in apparel fabrics, bed linen, knitted materials, and various textile applications.
Modern Technology and Plans for Expansion
Equipped with high-performance machinery from globally recognized manufacturers—including Swiss producer Rieter and German textile machinery giant Trützschler—the Serdar mill has positioned itself as a reliable source of quality yarn. The combination of advanced technology and skilled personnel has enabled the company to consistently deliver high-grade products, with a portion of its output exported to international markets.
To further enhance productivity and quality, the mill plans to modernize its production lines, adopting new technologies and refining its operational processes to keep pace with global textile standards.
The Dashoguz region is home to several other modern, high-tech textile facilities that transform locally grown cotton into environmentally friendly finished goods. Among them is a factory producing “Ring” brand cotton yarn, known for its quality and high demand on the global market.
Looking ahead, the region is expected to see the addition of another high-tech textile enterprise, reinforcing Dashoguz’s growing role as a significant production hub in Turkmenistan’s textile sector.
