J.Zimmer Maschinenbau GmbH Klagenfurt and J.Zimmer Maschinenbau GmbH Kufstein | Digital Printing Systems have announced the launch of “Zimmer 2028”, a strategic transformation initiative that will unite the two operating companies into a single organization effective January 1st, 2028.
“Zimmer 2028” is our response to increasing economic pressure. It is a strategic organizational transformation that combines the best of two worlds. The demands of our market continue to evolve. Through this restructuring, we are not only responding to these changes but also creating the foundation to actively and successfully shape the future of our company.
The objective is to align our organization consistently with the requirements of the years ahead, consolidate expertise, and create additional capacity for customer service, innovation, and growth.
Changes with immediate effect:
As of 31st August 2026, Horst Ros and Jürgen Scheriau have stepped down from their roles as Managing Directors. Horst Ros has left the company, while Jürgen Scheriau has withdrawn from the operational business and will no longer be involved in the company’s day-to-day management.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the departing Managing Directors, Mr. Jürgen Scheriau and Mr. Horst Ros, for their many years of commitment and valuable contributions to the company. We wish them every success and all the best in their future professional and personal endeavors.
Effective September 1st, 2026, Mr. Thomas Mentler and Mr. Andreas Rass, who have already been serving as Managing Directors of J. Zimmer Maschinenbau GmbH Kufstein | Digital Printing Systems, have been appointed as Managing Directors of J. Zimmer Maschinenbau GmbH Klagenfurt. They will continue to lead both the Kufstein and Klagenfurt companies in their respective roles.
