Chinese nonwovens manufacturer Wangjin Holdings has strengthened its long-standing partnership with German machinery supplier Trützschler by signing an agreement for a new Pulp X Spunlace Nonwoven Production Line, marking the tenth production line the company has acquired from Trützschler over the past decade.
The agreement was signed during a ceremony held in Geneva, Switzerland, on May 20, 2026, which also celebrated the successful commissioning of Line 3 at Zhejiang Jinnuo Medical New Material Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Wangjin Holdings.
The latest investment highlights Wangjin Holdings’ continued expansion in the high-performance and environmentally sustainable nonwovens sector while reinforcing Trützschler’s position as one of the industry’s leading technology providers.
A Decade of Strategic Cooperation
The partnership between Wangjin Holdings and Trützschler began in 2016 when the Chinese company installed its first spunlace nonwoven production line from the German machinery manufacturer.
Since then, Wangjin Holdings has steadily expanded its production capabilities through targeted investments in advanced nonwoven technologies. Over the last ten years, the company has introduced a total of six high-speed spunlace production lines and three flushable nonwoven production lines supplied by Trützschler.
These investments have enabled the company to increase production capacity, improve operational efficiency, diversify its product portfolio, and strengthen its competitiveness in both domestic and international markets.
The newly signed Pulp X production line represents the next phase of this growth strategy and demonstrates Wangjin Holdings’ commitment to innovation and sustainable product development.
Focus on Sustainable Nonwovens
The new production line is expected to support the growing demand for environmentally friendly nonwoven materials, particularly as global regulations and consumer preferences increasingly favor sustainable alternatives to traditional synthetic products.
Pulp-based spunlace technologies are attracting attention across hygiene, medical, wipes, and personal care sectors due to their potential to reduce reliance on non-biodegradable materials while maintaining high-performance characteristics.
Industry experts view the expansion as part of a broader shift toward renewable and biodegradable nonwoven solutions, which are becoming key priorities for manufacturers worldwide.
By investing in advanced eco-friendly production technologies, Wangjin Holdings aims to strengthen its position in the premium nonwovens segment and support the industry’s transition toward more sustainable manufacturing practices.

Driving the Future of Eco-Friendly Nonwovens
Wangjin Holdings believes the new production line will contribute to the development of higher-value, environmentally responsible nonwoven products while supporting broader industry transformation.
The company plans to leverage the technological advantages of the new line to accelerate research and development, optimize production processes, and expand its portfolio of sustainable materials.
At the same time, the strengthened partnership with Trützschler is expected to foster further technological collaboration and innovation, supporting both companies’ ambitions to drive the future growth of the global nonwovens industry.
As sustainability becomes a central focus for manufacturers, brands, and consumers alike, investments in advanced pulp-based and biodegradable nonwoven technologies are expected to play an increasingly important role in shaping the next generation of textile and hygiene products.
