Tunisia to host ”Prosper Africa” Summit in February 2020

Tunisia will host on February 6, 2020 the “Prosper Africa” Summit, a U.S. Government Initiative that unlocks opportunities to do business in Africa — benefiting companies, investors, and workers both in Africa and the United States.

At the event, U.S. government officials will present the initiative and how it can significantly increase bilateral trade and investment between the United States and Africa.

The event will also be an opportunity to hear from renowned African and American private sector actors on their prospects for strengthening economic ties between the two sides.

In addition, the Summit will enable participants to contact African and American business representatives to identify potential business opportunities.

Indeed, for years, businesses have been calling on the U.S. government to facilitate access to its trade and investment support services. “Prosper Africa responds to this call by offering a one-stop shop that makes the full range of these services available to U.S. and African businesses and investors.

Through “Prosper Africa,” the U.S. government is helping to unleash the entrepreneurial spirit of Americans and Africans as never before, advancing prosperity and security for both sides, supporting jobs and demonstrating the superior value of transparent markets and private enterprise in driving growth.
