Trützschler Nonwovens Supplies Second Spunlacing Line To Phoenix Textile

Following the convincing performance of Trützschler Nonwovens’ first line, Phoenix Textile decided again to partner with Trützschler for its new high-performance line.

The highly flexible Spunlace Line 6 successfully started on January 21, 2022 and was officially put into production. It processes blends of polyester/viscose fibers for light- to medium-weight webs. But, it is also suited for the production of the biodegradable nonwoven from 100% pure viscose fibers and blends with bleached cotton.

Trützschler Nonwovens supplied the whole process equipment for opening and blending, a NCT high-speed card, the AquaJet for spunlacing, a multi-drum dryer and a winder.

The close cooperation between Phoenix and Trützschler Nonwovens started with Spunlace Line 5 when Mr. Shi Chengkuang, General Manager of Phoenix Textile visited the NCTC, the Nonwoven Customer and Technology Center, in Egelsbach, Germany.

Trützschler’s high-performance equipment soon implemented the company’s plan for continuous growth in the highly competitive Chinese wipes market. A third Trützschler Nonwovens spunlacing line is planned to be put into operation in August this year.
