ORYUN TEXTILE Targets New Growth Opportunities in Latin America at Colombiamoda 2026

Turkish yarn manufacturer ORYUN TEXTILE is expanding its international market reach by participating in Colombiamoda 2026, viewing Colombia as a strategic gateway to the broader Americas.

During an interview with Behnam Ghasemi, Editor-in-Chief of Kohan Textile Journal, Halil Ibrahim Öreksele highlighted the company’s commitment to developing value-added recycled and fancy yarns while exploring new export opportunities in Latin America.

Founded in 1984 and headquartered in Uşak, Türkiye—the country’s leading textile recycling hub—ORYUN TEXTILE has established itself as one of the region’s leading producers of recycled yarns and fancy yarns. Through continuous investment, technological development, and product innovation, the company has expanded exports to more than 20 countries, supplying internationally recognized brands.

“Our objective is to produce high value-added recycled and fancy yarns at competitive costs,” said Öreksele. “Today, our products are well established in markets such as Russia, Italy, and Spain. We believe Colombia represents an important production and business hub for the Americas, making Colombiamoda an ideal platform to meet new customers and strengthen our international presence.”

According to Öreksele, the first two days of the exhibition exceeded expectations, attracting a large number of professional visitors and qualified buyers.

“We have had productive meetings with serious international buyers, and we are optimistic that these discussions will lead to successful business partnerships,” he added.
