Inexmoda has announced that Colombiatex de las Américas 2027 will take place from January 19 to 21, 2027, instead of its traditional dates. The adjustment applies only to the 2027 edition and is intended to enhance international participation and create stronger business opportunities for exhibitors, buyers, and brands.
According to Sebastián Díez, Chief Executive Officer of Inexmoda, the decision follows a strategic review of the global textile and fashion exhibition calendar to ensure the event remains aligned with the needs of the international industry.
“At Colombiatex de las Américas, we continuously work to provide a platform that creates the best opportunities for business, connections, and growth across the Fashion System,” said Díez.
Despite the date change, the exhibition will maintain its traditional Tuesday-to-Thursday format, offering three days dedicated to sourcing, networking, and business development.
Strategic adjustment for a stronger global turnout
Inexmoda explained that moving the event to January 19–21 is designed to strengthen the participation of national and international buyers, brands, exhibitors, and visitors, while ensuring optimal conditions for commercial activities throughout the trade fair.
The organizer emphasized that the schedule change is an exceptional measure exclusively for the 2027 edition. From 2028 onward, Colombiatex de las Américas will return to its traditional timing during the last full week of January.
