Miratex company was established in 1974 in the Suez governorate in Egypt. We are one of the leader companies in Egypt in the Textile field. We export our products and yarns to all over the world (U.S.A., France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Turkey, Switzerland, Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador, South Africa, Tunisia, Japan, South Korea, Pakistan, Bangladesh … etc) with high quality, we have the certificate of ISO 9001 since 1997 , certificate of OEKO-TEX since 1999, also we have Egyptian Cotton Trade Mark Certificate.

• Let us know about Miratex range of products in the textile industry. 

We produce all kinds of 100% Egyptian Cotton yarn for weaving, knitting or sewing thread, single or plied, raw, bleached or not bleached, mercerized or not mercerized, gassed or not gassed and waxed or not waxed. our yarn count range is from Ne 5 to Ne 160.

We are the first company in Egypt to use ring / compact technology in 2002 with k44 Rieter machinery (the Switzerland machinery)
The compact yarns are good quality than normal yarns because this technology reduces the hairiness and increases the strength of yarn (RKM)

• Miratex select its raw material carefully, could you please let us know more about Egyptian cotton and your selected raw material?

We use Egyptian cotton G94, G96, G86 and G95 the selection of raw material depends on the requirement of our customers and we purchase the cotton from famous and good ginning companies in Egypt. high quality and trustable raw material is the first step to our yarn manufacturing process.

• How many percentages of your yarns use in Egypt’s domestic market and how many percentages are exported?

About 20% of the production of our yarn use in the local market and 80% for export to more than 15 destinations all around the world

• What are Egypt’s Textile and yarn spinning sector’s Potentials and advantages in the international market?

Of course, Egypt’s Textile and yarn spinning sector has potential and advantages to be a leader in the international market, we have a best source of raw material from Egyptian cotton, skilled and cheap labour in these sectors and long experience to produce goods with good quality

Muratec spinning machinery – Miratex Co Egypt

• Recently Egypt’s government launched a new project to run the biggest cotton yarn spinning factory in the world. 

This project is a great opportunity for developing the textile sector in Egypt. All machinery of this mill will be new with best quality and a huge quantity of production with low cost also Egyptian government support the textile industry because this sector heavy many labours and source of income for the country.

Textile and Fashion industry in the middle east and Africa have the potential to grow and compare with China and India in the international market if we put a good plan for this
