Colorjet to show digital printer Vastrajet at ITMACH

ITMACH :: ColorJet India Ltd, India’s leading manufacturer and marketer of wide format inkjet digital textile printers, will give live demonstration of Vastrajet, its best-selling printer, at ITMACH 2017. This will give visitors an opportunity to take a close look at digital printing process and discuss the nitty-gritty of the printer with experts from Colorjet India.

The company will showcase Vastrajet in hall 8, booth no D-38/E-32, the stall of T4 Texultants, which is a marketer of several textile technologies.

VastraJet Delivers Precision Fabric Printing

The direct to fabric digital printer Vastrajet has a printing working width of up to 180 cm and can easily integrate into the setup of an existing process house. Vastrajet produces brilliant quality prints onto textiles with high colour consistency, using water based inks which are suitable for printing on a variety of fabrics like cotton, silk, wool, polyester and their blends.

Vastrajet offers precise dot placements and high precision printing and is available in 4 and 8 colour variants and is built on industrial grade jetting assembly. For outstanding print quality and perfect print registration, it uses an adhesive belt with built-in automatic washing system.

The structure of Vastrajet is excellently designed to handle high speed production and precise dot placements, while the proprietary AIVC technology ensures high precision printing. The high speed is achieved through specially designed jetting controls to optimise printheads performance to match the high jetting frequency.

For those looking at higher productivity, Colorjet offers the Metro with 16 heads, offering production in the range of 200 square metres per hour.

“ColorJet eyes ITMACH 2017 as a great platform to exhibit its technological advancements. The Vastrajet digital textile printer has written a long story of success in different geographies globally. The fabrics printed on ColorJet digital machines are exported to many developed economies. In fact, even designer fabrics are also printed on our machines,” Smarth Bansal, brand manager at Colorjet, said in a press release.

ColorJet India designs, manufactures and integrates every component of its printers like inks, printheads, and the control system to ensure maximum quality, reliability and uptime combined with low total cost of ownership.

Over 4,000 Colorjet digital textile printers have been installed at various textile fabrics process houses across the globe. The company has gained the trust of the user community due to the robustness of its printers and its excellent after-sales service and support.

“The Future of Textile Printing: Sustainability and Innovation in Digital Solutions”

As the textile industry continues to evolve, sustainability has become a significant factor in shaping the future of digital textile printing. In addition to high-quality prints and efficiency, manufacturers like ColorJet India are focusing on reducing environmental impact by integrating eco-friendly practices in their production processes.

One of the key areas of innovation is the development of water-based inks used in digital printing. These inks not only provide excellent color consistency and print quality but also contribute to a cleaner production process by eliminating harmful chemicals traditionally used in textile printing. With the growing demand for sustainable and eco-conscious solutions, ColorJet’s Vastrajet and other digital printers offer a compelling advantage for businesses looking to meet global environmental standards while still achieving the high-quality results that customers expect.

Furthermore, advances in printer technology, such as ColorJet’s AIVC (Automated Intelligent Vacuum Control) system, help to optimize ink usage and reduce waste, aligning with the increasing pressure on industries to minimize their carbon footprint. As digital textile printing continues to gain momentum in various markets, the combination of sustainability and technological advancement will play a pivotal role in driving the future of textile manufacturing.
