Aznar Textil’s Innovations at Hometex Istanbul 2024

Interview with Natalia Beal – International Sales Manager at Aznar Textil

Our Company head office is based in Valencia, Spain, the Company was founded in 1881 and we have been in existence for over 143 years. Our manufacturing facilities are located in Bocairent about 94 kilometers from Valencia. While the company has a long history, our current manufacturing plant has been operating for about 35 years and is very modern. We use the latest machinery, each equipped with its own computer. Our engineers program the machines to ensure precise production.

We have invested in new wide weaving machines. We primarily use cotton, polyester, cotton-polyester blends, and cotton-linen yarns in our wide width 330, 310 and 280 cms home, flameretardant and outdoor collections

Flame Retardant and Contract Fabrics Meeting Global Standards

Our flameretardant yarn inherent contract collection (FR flame retardant) meet International Standards Class 1, M1 France, Classe 1 Italy, among others. We also have certifications for acoustical and thermal properties.

Sustainability is a major focus for us, In all our collections from Residential to contract we have lines which are certified Okotex Recycled and GRS.

Our Design Studio works to adapt the Tendences and needs of the market to the Collections, where Natural beige and grey colors are particularly popular as they create a tranquil atmosphere.

Worldwide in all countries and regions, life is very fast, and people want their homes to be a place of relaxation. This trend is reflected in our designs, which favor simplicity, such as light curtains that allow views of the outdoors. our goal is to create coordinated interiors and exteriors that enhance the beauty of the natural surroundings.

Hometex Istanbul Exhibition

I am very pleased with the Hometex Istanbul exhibition as it attracts a large and diverse audience. This event is particularly important for us as it allows us to target the Russian, North African, and Middle Eastern markets. We have a global presence, selling in over 100 countries, supported by our team of eight sales managers who ensure we cover all regions.

We are aware of the competitive production environments in Turkey and China, which is why we focus on innovation rather than competing on price. Our strategy includes launching new collections regularly, typically three per year. Our main exhibitions are Heimtextil Frankfurt, and Hometex Istanbul now. We also participate in the Valencia exhibition, where we showcase our new collections.

Overall, our aim is to be trusteful to our partners for long terms relationship and working together. We strive to stay competitive by emphasizing quick service from stock position, sustainability and innovative design, which are crucial in today’s market.
