AJ Nonwovens Relaunches Multipile™ — A Sustainable, USA-Made Solution for the Auto Aftermarket

AJ Nonwovens proudly announces the relaunch of Multipile™, a versatile, high-performance nonwoven product designed to meet the evolving needs of the Auto Aftermarket. Now made with sustainable materials and proudly manufactured in the USA, Multipile™ delivers a reliable, domestic alternative to imported substrates—without sacrificing quality or performance.

AJ Nonwovens Relaunches Multipile™ for Durable and Sustainable Applications

Multipile™ is engineered for applications where durability, consistency, and value matter most; ideal for automotive buffing pads, abrasives backings and other technical uses. With increasing demand for environmentally responsible sourcing and shortened supply chains, AJ Nonwovens’ latest iteration of Multipile™ offers customers a dependable and sustainable option in a traditionally import-heavy category.

The relaunched Multipile™ also complements AJ Nonwovens’ industry-leading Spectropile® product line, giving customers a broader range of pile products to meet diverse application needs. Like Spectropile®, Multipile™ is available in a variety of vibrant colors, allowing customers to match their brand identity or product differentiation requirements with ease.

“We listened to our customers and recognized the market’s need for a domestically produced, high-quality alternative that’s also environmentally conscious,” said Chris Fritch, Director of Technical Products at AJ Nonwovens. “The relaunch of Multipile™ reflects our commitment to product innovation, operational flexibility, and support for the American manufacturing sector.”

As global supply chain challenges and sustainability targets reshape the industry, AJ Nonwovens is investing in solutions that offer performance, availability, and peace of mind. Multipile™ is available in multiple weights, colors, and constructions, allowing customers to tailor the product to their specific requirements.
