Paris Expo Highlights Chinese Textile and Apparel Industry

Successful Conclusion of CTAF and Texworld Paris

The Paris Expo Porte de Versailles recently hosted the 29th China Textile and Apparel Trade Fair (CTAF) and Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris, concluding a successful event on July 3. This exhibition, established in 2007 and co-organized by Messe Frankfurt France and the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT, serves as a vital hub for trade opportunities and global supply chain stabilization in the textile industry.

Celebrating 60 Years of Sino-French Diplomatic Relations

Paris Expo event coincides with the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and France, an occasion marked by a grand opening ceremony. Distinguished guests such as Xu Yingxin, Vice President of the China National Textile and Apparel Council, and other high-profile representatives from both China and France, attended and cut the ribbon.

Showcasing Chinese Innovation and Sustainability

Nearly 1,200 exhibitors from 26 countries participated, with a remarkable 800+ from Chinese textile and apparel enterprises. These Chinese exhibitors showcased their prowess in technological innovation, eco-friendly manufacturing, intelligent production, brand development, and supply chain agility. Since 2017, CTAF has been instrumental in promoting China’s independent clothing brands, many of which were prominently featured this year.

TANGY Collection Sustainable Fashion Show

A highlight of the Paris Expo fair was the TANGY Collection Sustainable Fashion Show at the Guimet Museum of Asian Art. Supported by CCPIT TEX and Messe Frankfurt France, the show spotlighted China’s commitment to sustainable textiles and its rich cultural heritage. The event also celebrated TANGY’s 30th anniversary, with its founder Liangzi, recognized by Harper’s Bazaar as an environmental ambassador, earning accolades from both Chinese and French audiences.

A Milestone in China-France Textile Collaboration

This year’s CTAF and Texworld Paris not only underscored China’s leading role in the global textile industry but also celebrated a significant milestone in China-France relations, paving the way for future collaboration in the fashion and textile sectors.
