OEKO-TEX Summit & Exhibition 2025 to Spotlight Sustainable Textile Leadership in Mumbai

Hohenstein India will host the OEKO-TEX Summit & Exhibition 2025 on December 9–10 at Hall 4, Bombay Exhibition Centre (NESCO), positioning India at the forefront of sustainable, certified textile production. The event will connect OEKO-TEX standards with India’s vibrant organic cotton, chemical, textile, leather, and footwear sectors.

The summit will bring together stakeholders from raw material producers to finished product manufacturers, fostering sustainable solutions and global partnerships. Eleven pavilions will cover the full value chain—fibres, yarns, fabrics, garments, home textiles, denim, technical textiles, chemicals, leather & footwear, and accessories—alongside a dedicated International Pavilion featuring certifiers, experts, and regulators.

Vinod Kumar, Managing Director of Hohenstein India & SL, emphasized OEKO-TEX’s role since 1992 as the world’s most recognized certification for product safety and ecological responsibility. “With this Summit, we aim to strengthen India’s integration into the OEKO-TEX certified global supply chain — from Fibre to Fashion — by promoting sustainable choices and offering a platform to source, share, and grow.”

For buyers, sourcing professionals, manufacturers, and compliance leaders targeting markets in Europe, the USA, UK, Middle East, Africa, and Australia, the event promises high-value networking, sourcing opportunities, and insights into compliance, traceability, and transparency—driving innovation and business growth in the certified textile industry
