LMW Global FZE Signs MoU with Tajikistan’s Ministry of Industry to Boost Textile Sector

LMW Global FZE, a renowned global manufacturer of textile spinning machinery, has signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan. The agreement was formalized on 8th July 2025 during the inaugural edition of the International Textile Forum in Tajikistan, which gathered prominent international and regional textile stakeholders.

Established in 1962, LMW boasts over 60 years of expertise in delivering cutting-edge spinning machinery, known for enhancing productivity, ensuring superior yarn quality, and promoting energy efficiency. The company’s commitment to sustainable and smart textile solutions positions it as a key player in advancing global textile manufacturing.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Jaidev Jayavarthanavelu, Director of LMW Global FZE, and Mr. Sherali Kabir, Hon’ble Minister of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan. The signing ceremony was attended by senior government officials, industry leaders, and forum delegates, reflecting the growing importance of international cooperation in Tajikistan’s textile ambitions.

This strategic partnership is set to drive the growth of Tajikistan’s spinning sector by fostering technological collaboration, knowledge transfer, and capacity building. The agreement aims to support the modernization of the country’s textile industry, aligning with Tajikistan’s broader industrial development goals.

The International Textile Forum, hosted for the first time in 2025, serves as a significant platform to showcase Tajikistan’s emerging textile and apparel capabilities and to attract investment and innovation across the textile value chain.

LMW reaffirmed its dedication to contributing to global textile excellence and supporting industrial progress in emerging markets. The partnership with Tajikistan is expected to unlock new opportunities for innovation, sustainable development, and cross-border collaboration in the textile sector.
