During a press conference at FESPA, Mr. Neil Felton, CEO of FESPA, responded to a question from Mr. Behnam Ghasemi, Editor-in-Chief of Kohan Textile Journal, regarding the future of FESPA Middle East and the strategic importance of the region within FESPA’s global expansion strategy.
FESPA CEO Highlights Strong Potential of Middle East & Africa Markets
Felton emphasized that the Middle East and Africa — particularly North Africa — represent one of the fastest-growing markets in digital printing, textile printing, and visual communication technologies.
“The Middle East and Africa region has tremendous potential. Countries such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE are rapidly investing and growing in this sector,” Felton stated.
He noted that FESPA is leveraging its extensive experience from organizing highly successful global exhibitions in Europe, Africa, and Eurasia, applying those learnings to accelerate the development of the Middle East edition:
“We are using our experience from other FESPA events to support the rapid growth of FESPA Middle East. We strongly believe that the region’s potential will help this event expand and prosper even more.”
Felton added that high demand for technology, investment in manufacturing, and the rise of regional hubs like Dubai make the Middle East a strategically important location for FESPA’s future roadmap.
