8 Chinese companies keen to invest in Pakistan textile sector

In this regard, a delegation of representatives from these companies, led by Huang Weiguo met Mian Aslam Iqbal, Provincial Minister of Industry, Trade, Information & Culture recently.

8 top textile firms from China are keen to invest in Pakistan!

The Minister, reportedly, said that China can play an important role in lifting Pakistan’s exports by relocating export-oriented industries and initiating joint ventures in different fields.

He also added that this will boost industrial cooperation and strengthen the economic partnership between China and Pakistan.

The delegation also met Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad. The Prime Minister told the textile delegation that availability of cost-effective and skilled labour was among the several advantages that Pakistan could offer.

Notably, a garment city, extending over an area of 400 acres, is being established at Kasur Road, in which China Railway will invest US $ 500 million. The city intends to offer employment to 3,000 people.
