A.Celli and Ahlstrom Strengthen Partnership with New Nonwoven Rewinder for Scotland Facility

A.Celli and Ahlstrom have renewed their long-standing partnership through a new contract for the supply of an advanced nonwoven rewinder for Ahlstrom’s production site in Chirnside, Scotland.

The order includes a customized A.Celli E-WIND® RAPID rewinder designed to process 11–40 gsm wetlaid reels with a maximum width of 3600 mm at a design speed of 850 m/min. The system will support the production of filters for the food and beverage industry and features an integrated shaft and reel handling solution.

In addition to the rewinder, the agreement includes dedicated maintenance and spare parts contracts, ensuring maximum equipment availability and operational efficiency.

“This is not the first time we have partnered with A.Celli, and we’ve always reached great results together,” said Stuart Nixon, Head of Projects and Managing Director at Ahlstrom Chirnside. “We appreciate the company’s dedication in delivering machinery tailored to our production needs and look forward to continuing our partnership.”

This latest collaboration underscores A.Celli’s continued role as a trusted technology partner to leading nonwovens producers worldwide.
