Zimmer Austria Equips Pincroft Dyeing and Printing with Cutting-Edge Rotary Printing Technology

Zimmer Austria, a global leader in textile printing innovation, has successfully partnered with Pincroft Dyeing and Printing, a world-renowned specialist in commission dyeing and printing, on the installation of a state-of-the-art rotary printing line. The new Rotascreen TG printing system marks a significant advancement for Pincroft, reinforcing its leadership position in the high-demand military fabric market.

This advanced printing line, representing an investment of approximately £1.5 million, was officially inaugurated by prominent UK government representatives, including Sir Lindsay Hoyle MP and Maria Eagle MP. Their attendance underscores the importance of such strategic investments to local industry innovation and growth.

Pincroft Dyeing and Printing Cutting-Edge Rotary Printing Technology

Fully equipped with Zimmer Austria’s sophisticated energy monitoring systems, the Rotascreen TG machine meticulously measures water, electricity, and gas consumption, promoting sustainability and efficiency. The system’s advanced magnetic rod application ensures consistently high-quality prints and allows intricate detailing, critical for specialized military fabrics such as ripstop nylons and polyesters.

By dramatically reducing setup times and incorporating automatic repeat settings, the new printing line significantly minimizes downtime and fabric waste, increasing productivity and responsiveness to market demands. Furthermore, the installation of an in-house mini strike-off table, replicating production processes on a lab scale, ensures color accuracy and rapid prototyping capabilities.

The new installation enhances Pincroft’s annual printing capacity from 3 million to 8 million meters, supporting growing international demand across Asia, the Middle East, Oceania, and the Americas. Additionally, bringing screen-making capabilities in-house has further strengthened supply chain resilience and agility, enabling faster turnarounds and greater flexibility.

Zimmer Austria applauds Pincroft Dyeing and Printing’s visionary approach, recognizing this investment as pivotal for sustainable industry leadership and adaptability in a rapidly evolving textile landscape.
