Universal MEP Projects & Engineering Services Limited (UMPESL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Voltas Limited, has entered into a strategic collaboration with Erbatech GmbH, Germany. The partnership aims to deliver cutting-edge wet finishing solutions for woven fabrics to the rapidly expanding textile industry in India.
With this collaboration, UMPESL and Erbatech are poised to capitalize on the strong growth and modernization within India’s textile sector. The partnership combines UMPESL’s deep-rooted presence and expertise in industrial machinery with Erbatech’s advanced German engineering, offering a new level of technical excellence and service for Indian textile manufacturers.

Mr. Pradip Roy, Head of the Textile Machinery Division at UMPESL, emphasized that the partnership will not only broaden UMPESL’s product portfolio but also strengthen its position as a market leader. “The collaboration is set to expand both UMPESL and Erbatech’s presence in India’s growing textile industry.
