Saurer once again highlighted its strong presence in Iran’s textile machinery market during Irantex 2026, using the exhibition as a strategic platform to introduce its latest developments in spinning preparation technologies.
Speaking on the sidelines of Irantex, Shiva Eghbal, Executive Manager of Saurer in Iran, emphasized the company’s growing focus on the spinning preparation segment over the past two to three years. “Saurer has significantly expanded its activities in spinning preparation machinery, and Irantex provided an important opportunity to present our latest solutions directly to Iranian textile manufacturers and industry professionals,” she said.
Direct Engagement with Iranian Spinners and Factory Managers
According to Eghbal, while it was not possible to demonstrate the entire spinning preparation process at the exhibition, key machines—including carding and drawing frames—were displayed at the Saurer booth. “Many factories are still not fully aware of the latest products and technological upgrades offered by Saurer. Exhibitions like Irantex allow manufacturers and technical experts to see the machines up close, ask detailed technical questions, and better understand how these solutions can be integrated into their production lines,” she noted.
She also underlined the importance of face-to-face interaction during the four-day event, describing Irantex as a valuable meeting point for domestic industry players seeking reliable and high-performance machinery under current market conditions.
Irantex 2026 was held from 2 to 5 January, bringing together key players from Iran’s textile and machinery sectors. Despite a more subdued atmosphere compared to previous editions, the exhibition continued to serve as an important venue for technology presentation, knowledge exchange, and direct engagement between machinery suppliers and textile manufacturers.
