Morocco in Fashion & Moroccan Sourcing event in Oct

The Morocco in Fashion & Morocco Sourcing trade show, scheduled to be organised on October 17-18 in Marrakech, will cover five elements of the industry: fast fashion, denim, knitwear, tailoring, and Moroccan brand distribution signs. Conferences and roundtables will discuss topics like market trends and social and environmental responsibility.

The event, organized by the Moroccan Association of Textile and Clothing Industries (AMITH) with the support of the State Secretariat for Foreign Trade and the Moroccan Agency for Investment Development (AMDIE), aims to showcase the role Moroccan textiles and fashion play at the global level, according to a statement from the organisers.
France will be the guest of honour, while Turkey, Portugal, China and Pakistan will also participate.

The organizers point out that the convention is happening as the national textile industry reaches a record level of success.

Morocco’s textile and clothing export sector has been growing continuously, surpassing the 38 billion dirhams mark in 2018, the organisers added.
