NedGraphics has launched its 2027 software release, introducing cloud-based asset management alongside updates for rotary printing, Jacquard weaving, tufted carpets and product resizing.
Announced on 20 October, the release centres on OPTINEDCloud, a shared environment designed to connect textile design, approval and production teams through centralised files, contextual feedback and version tracking.
OPTINEDCloud Connects Design Applications and Teams
OPTINEDCloud allows users to store, organise, preview and share product development files with colleagues and external partners. Teams can comment directly on assets, keeping feedback connected to the relevant design.
The platform integrates with Jacquard, Texcelle, Tuft, True Coloring, Print Studio Premium and 3DDI. Two-way synchronisation enables users to save and access cloud files without leaving their NedGraphics application.
According to the company, centralised file management and secure sharing are intended to reduce fragmented communication and help teams coordinate revisions throughout development.
Frank Maeder, President of NedGraphics and Optitex, said the release responds to textile organisations’ need to collaborate across locations, systems and departments while retaining specialised design-to-production capabilities.
Updates Cover Printing, Weaving and Carpet Design
For rotary printing workflows, Engraver Premium and Tonal Tracing are now bundled into the installers for Easy Coloring Premium and Print Studio Premium, supporting artwork preparation for production.
NedGraphics Atlas also incorporates updated Pantone colour libraries, accessible through Easy Coloring Premium and True Coloring.
Texcelle gains TexResize, a separately licensed add-on designed to adapt artwork for products manufactured in different dimensions, including rugs and towels.
Optional NEDLink connectivity allows design data and parameters to transfer from Texcelle to third-party enterprise resource planning and product lifecycle management systems.
A partnership with Gemell introduces custom yarn integration. Yarns developed in Gemell’s YarnEditor can now be imported into Jacquard, allowing designers to use yarn libraries tailored to specific development and manufacturing needs.

Enhanced Tufting Simulation and Loom Connectivity
In Tuft, updated simulation capabilities generate full cut and shear segments for every yarn, providing more complete visual representations of cut-and-shear tufted designs.
Jacquard Connect now supports Advanced Weave Programs and includes clearer error messages when NCL configuration files cannot be found. Revised handling of PDC(x) and NCC files is intended to improve workflows involving loom and harness definitions.
The release also renames NEDKey as OPTINEDKey, with existing users retaining their credentials. Updated network handling removes the need to manually adjust proxy settings when moving between networks.
