Concord by Guston Ltd Expands Real-Time Factory Control with Solvei8’s Factory OS

Concord by Guston Ltd, a manufacturing partner to global brands including Blaklader, Didriksons, and Revolution Race, has gone live with Plani8, the planning module of Solvei8’s Factory OS, and has also implemented Tracki8 for production and quality visibility and Maintaini8 for asset and machine maintenance across selected factories.

Together, these deployments are strengthening planning discipline, aligning capacities with delivery timelines, and improving real-time visibility across plan execution, production, quality, and machine readiness.

Establishing Group-Wide Planning Visibility

Concord operates eight factories across Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and Bangladesh, with 114 apparel lines. Before Plani8, planning data across different order stages was tracked across multiple internal tools, limiting teams’ ability to manage order progress in one place.

Concord selected Factory OS for its rapid user adoption, simple workflows, and consistent scalability across multiple factories without disruption.

Plani8 now provides a single, group-wide planning layer, giving teams shared visibility into order status, TNA progress, and capacity plans across locations. This has strengthened multi-factory coordination, made planning cycles more predictable, and reduced daily revisions and manual follow-up. Its user-friendly TNA process also simplifies pre-production follow-up, ensuring teams have clear visibility into every dependency required for smooth shopfloor execution.

Teams across the group have responded positively to Plani8’s clarity and ease of use, and it now serves as the planning backbone for real-time factory control.

Delivering a Smooth, Phased Rollout Across All Factories

The implementation was completed across all eight factories within the planned window through a phased rollout covering setup, order uploads, TNA, and line planning, and dashboard training.

Plani8 was tailored to Concord’s workflow requirements, helping teams transition smoothly while maintaining existing production processes. Teams are already using system-driven information to support internal reporting, manage frequent order changes and shorter production runs, and achieve more consistent decision-making across units. This improved planning consistency is essential for coordinating geographically distributed factories and supports Concord’s next phase of scalable growth.

“Once Plani8 was implemented, we gained a single view of all our factories. From one page, we can now follow every unit. The planning board and analytics have been especially useful for faster decision-making and clear visibility across the group.”
— Ms. Indika Bandara, Group Planning Manager, Concord Apparel.

Extending Real-Time Control Across Production, Quality, and Maintenance

Building on the planning foundation established through Plani8, Concord has implemented Tracki8 for production and quality visibility and Maintaini8 for asset and machine maintenance across selected factories. Implementation across additional units is currently underway, extending Factory OS into real-time execution and operational visibility.

Together, Plani8, Tracki8, and Maintaini8 are helping Concord strengthen coordination between teams, improve execution continuity, and support faster decision-making across factories.

At a leadership level, Concord views the rollout of Factory OS as a step toward a more connected and predictable operating model across its factory network. “Plani8 has helped us bring structure and predictability to planning across our factories.

As Tracki8 implementation progresses, and maintenance visibility expands through Maintaini8, our focus is on extending that visibility into production and quality so that plans are executed more reliably on the floor. The objective is to build a connected operating model where planning, execution, quality, and maintenance are aligned, improving predictability and continuity across our operations.”
— Mr. Pratheep Samithamby, Group CFO, Concord by Guston Ltd.

Concord’s phased Factory OS rollout reflects a broader shift within apparel manufacturing toward connected, real-time operating models that improve coordination and responsiveness across factory operations.

“Modern factories need systems that drive action, not complexity. Concord understood this and built its planning backbone with Plani8. As Tracki8 is rolled out across production and quality, and Maintaini8 expands across maintenance operations, they are strengthening real-time visibility and operational continuity across the factory network.”
