The Istanbul carpet exhibition features an impressive presence of over 350 Turkish companies, strategically occupying halls 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. Iran takes the position of the second-largest exhibiting country with 28 participating companies. Additionally, exhibitors from countries like Uzbekistan, India, China, Indonesia, Ukraine, Russia, England, Jordan, and Egypt are also taking part in this event, with all international companies showcased in Hall 1 of the exhibition.
In a conversation with Kohan Textile Journal, Mr. Ilhan Ersozlu, Managing Director of Tuyap Exhibitions Company, expressed his vision of achieving the world’s top position in machine-made carpet exhibitions within five years. He emphasized the collaborative efforts of large, medium, and small carpet producers in Turkey, along with strong international company participation, to realize this goal. Ersuzlu highlighted the participation of renowned Turkish carpet manufacturers from various cities such as Gaziantep, Istanbul, Oshak, Manisa, and Izmir in the exhibition. He also underscored the significant impact the exhibition will have on tourism revenue by showcasing the strength of the Turkish carpet industry and attracting numerous foreign visitors to Istanbul.

It’s worth noting that the Istanbul Exhibition Center offers a space of 100,000 square meters, Tuyap Exhibition provides approximately 120,000 square meters, whereas the Hannover Exhibition Center boasts a substantial 400,000 square meters of exhibition space for organizers. This constraint has led this year’s exhibition to concentrate solely on machine-made carpets.
