Turkish integrated textile manufacturer Kipaş Textile has strengthened its production and sustainability capabilities through the installation of advanced finishing technologies from German machinery specialist Monforts at its new dyeing and finishing facility in Kahramanmaraş.
New Dyeing and Finishing Technologies Boost Efficiency
The investment includes a new Thermex continuous dyeing range and a Monfortex sanforizing line, both designed to improve production efficiency, fabric quality, and energy savings while supporting the growing demand for more flexible and sustainable textile manufacturing.
The Thermex continuous dyeing system is recognized for its ability to deliver high productivity, precise color consistency, and reduced energy consumption. Equipped with advanced application technology and process controls, the system ensures uniform dye penetration and excellent color reproducibility across long production runs. It also enables manufacturers to efficiently process smaller batch sizes, a capability that is becoming increasingly important as textile producers respond to market demands for shorter production runs and greater product customization.
Alongside the dyeing range, Kipaş Textile has installed a Monfortex sanforizer, designed to achieve minimal residual shrinkage while maintaining fabric softness and consistent quality. The latest generation of Monfortex technology features an enlarged shrink cylinder and optimized rubber belt system, allowing improved shrinkage performance at lower contact pressures. This not only enhances fabric quality but also extends belt lifetime and helps reduce operating costs.

CEO Highlights Flexibility and Market Strength
“We offer a very wide and high-quality product range under our sub-brands, ranging from technical textiles to fashion-oriented products and from alternative sustainable solutions to high-performance fabrics,” said Halit Gümüser, CEO of Kipaş Textile.
“This gives us unique flexibility against fluctuations in global markets and thanks to our agile structure, we continue to strengthen our strategic position and expand our sphere of influence with new collaborations, maintaining our balance even in times of crisis.”
Gümüser also highlighted the successful implementation of the project and Monforts’ technical support throughout the installation process.
“We are extremely satisfied with the installation process and the uninterrupted remote support provided by Monforts, which ensured operational continuity,” he said.
Sustainability Investments Continue
Kipaş Textile is one of Türkiye’s leading integrated textile producers, with a daily yarn production capacity of approximately 400 tons. The company already operates several Monforts production lines and continues to invest heavily in sustainable manufacturing technologies.
Recent initiatives include the establishment of a new textile recycling platform focused on addressing the challenges of polyester textile recycling at industrial scale, as well as a collaboration with Archroma to develop more durable and laundry-friendly fabrics. These projects support the company’s broader sustainability strategy while strengthening its competitive position in domestic and international markets.
Türkiye’s Strategic Role in the Global Textile Supply Chain
According to Gümüser, Türkiye continues to play a critical role in serving international textile markets.
“Turkey offers fast logistics to European markets thanks to its strategic location, while its strong textile heritage and qualified workforce enable us to produce high-quality products,” he said.
“Our R&D capacity—especially in sustainable and technical textiles—makes Turkey an indispensable solution partner in the global supply chain.”
Monforts Showcases Innovations at ITM 2026
The investment comes as Monforts increases its focus on the Turkish market. During ITM 2026 in Istanbul, the company is presenting technologies for technical textile coating applications and retrofit solutions designed to improve energy efficiency in existing production lines.
Among the highlights are the Eco Booster heat recovery system with automatic cleaning technology and the Matex Eco Applicator, an energy-saving alternative to conventional padding processes.
As textile manufacturers face growing pressure to improve efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and maintain product quality, investments such as Kipaş Textile’s latest Monforts installation demonstrate the industry’s continued commitment to modernization, sustainability, and long-term competitiveness.
