Renowned as the world’s strongest fiber™, Dyneema® now enables the production of gloves that are not only significantly stronger but also up to 40% lighter than earlier versions.
The new Dyneema® Diamond 3.0 fiber eliminates the need for reinforcement yarns thanks to its patented single-yarn technology. This advancement delivers gloves that combine built-in cut resistance with enhanced comfort, dexterity, and long-lasting wearability. Backed by three years of intensive research and testing, the fiber is designed to meet the needs of industries where safety and comfort cannot be compromised.
Performance testing confirms the leap forward: gloves made with Dyneema® Diamond 3.0 provide six times higher cut resistance than those produced with generic HPPE fibers, while achieving a +2 cut level compared to previous Dyneema® generations. The fiber also offers improved coating adhesion, higher integrity, and even touchscreen compatibility, ensuring all-around performance for workers across automotive, medical, food, and heavy industries.
At the core of this breakthrough is Dyneema’s proprietary molecular engineering process, where raw polymers are reinforced with cut-resistant microparticles spun directly into the fiber. This unique method not only ensures unrivaled strength but also delivers a smoother, more flexible glove design that promotes all-day comfort.
