ExpoPrint 2018 ; DIENES for the first time in Sao Paulo

ExpoPrint :: As a global specialist for industrial slitting solutions, DIENES is represented at trade fairs all over the world with innovative products. DIENES is starting this year with the printing fair ExpoPrint at booth 2431 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Especially in the printing sector, DIENES long and circular knives are used in sheet-fed offset printing machines and roll-to-roll (R2R) systems. One of the latest DIENES highlights is included in the exhibition luggage: the knife holder DS 8 with Depth Control and dust extraction.

DIENES underlines its innovative strength with the robust shear cut knife holder DS 8. The DS 8 is used, for example, for slitting a wide variety of paper types and foils. The all-rounder among the knife holders convinces with its very high stability and durability, a cutting width from 100 mm and a speed of up to 3,000 m/min. The DS 8 has been developed for the use and modernization of winders, e. g. load-bearing and back-up winders, as well as sheeters, e. g. cut-size and double slitter, of all well-known brands. The DS 8 has a high-precision and comfortable depth adjustment, ensuring a perfect cutting edge at all times. The new DIENES exhaust system on the knife head of

the DS 8 knife holder ensures that the dust produced is exhausted directly. This results in perfect, clean cuts and considerably prolongs the service life of the production machines.

Once again this year, we want to convince customers and interested parties that our slitting tools are unbeatable in terms of quality and efficiency and pay for themselves quickly for the companies,” commented Sales Manager Dietmar Fritz in advance to the DIENES trade fair appearance.

Since 1913, DIENES has been the market leader in knives, knife holders and slitting systems for industrial applications. The company employs approximately 500 people and holds various national and international patents. DIENES knives and knife holders are used to cut a wide variety of materials, e. g. paper, core paper, packaging, labels, adhesive tape, lithium-ion accumulators, foil, nonwoven, cellulose, aluminium, carbon material and much more.
