Camira Launches New Inherently Flame Retardant Collection Made from Wool and Flax

Global designer and manufacturer of sustainable textiles for commercial and hospitality settings, Camira has launched a brand-new collection of carefully curated mini patterns.

Colour woven from a blend of pure new wool and flax, Monochrome Sett comprises twelve contemporary small-scale patterns in two monochromatic colours. Houndstooth, tweed, pinstripes and checks work well together and individually, to elevate any interior design scheme.

A Camira Circular product, Monochrome Sett is made from rapidly renewable wool and plant fibres, which are biodegradable and inherently flame retardant with no added chemistry.

Head of design Lynn Kingdon commented: “A palette that transcends seasons and time, Monochromatic style has long been seen as a powerful fashion statement. Inspired by perennial catwalk designs, Monochrome Sett embraces the timeless elegance and sophistication of colour restraint.

“Simple, yet striking, the collection creates a serene ambiance that celebrates mini patterns, textures, and delicate variations in tone, resulting in a visually cohesive and contemporary aesthetic.”

Certified to the EU Ecolabel and Indoor Advantage Gold, Monochrome Sett is also Prop 65 compliant, PFAS free and suitable for hospitality, residential and workplace settings.
