Brückner Trockentechnik, one of the world’s most respected textile finishing machinery manufacturers, reported exceptional results at ITMA ASIA + CITME Singapore 2025. The company highlighted both the strategic importance of Singapore as a host city and the successful introduction of its newest stenter model.
Brückner Showcases New Stenter Innovation in Singapore
Regina Brückner, CEO of Brückner Trockentechnik, described the exhibition as a clear success and confirmed that Singapore exceeded expectations regarding accessibility, organization, and the quality of visitors.
“We are very happy to be back in Singapore,” she said. “We discussed for a long time whether we should return, and now we see that it was absolutely the right decision. Visitors from more than 109 countries attended the exhibition. Many could participate because entering Singapore is easy and without complications.”
According to Brückner, exhibitors appreciated the calm, well-structured environment at the venue, which allowed meaningful business discussions instead of rushed meetings. “Customers told us they enjoy the way this show is organized,” she added. “They feel well attended and can truly explore solutions.”
During the exhibition, Brückner presented the SFP2, a completely new stenter model designed for classical textiles and apparel applications. The machine was shown publicly for the first time in Singapore. The SFP2 has been engineered to simplify daily operation and maintenance while delivering high production efficiency. In addition to the new stenter, Brückner demonstrated a stenterizing range for woven fabrics as well as several technological innovations such as lubricant-free chain systems and other energy-efficient finishing solutions. Brückner’s full portfolio spans carpet production, nonwovens, coating, and classical textile finishing, enabling the company to support multiple market segments simultaneously.
Brückner also addressed the current situation of the global textile market. She acknowledged that the conventional apparel segment is currently facing economic pressure due to high interest rates, currency instability in some markets, and decreased consumer demand. However, she pointed out that the technical textile sector continues to grow steadily and is becoming an important stabilizing pillar for machinery manufacturers.
“Our industry is used to ups and downs,” Brückner said. “Sometimes we grow thirty percent, sometimes we fall the same. The important thing is that we remain balanced. Technical textiles are doing very well, and the customers we met here are optimistic about the future.”
Looking ahead, the company believes that 2026 will bring improvement and new investment opportunities. Brückner expressed confidence in the resilience of the global textile sector and encouraged industry players to focus on progress rather than challenges.
“We need to stay positive,” she concluded. “Instead of talking only about what isn’t working, we should look at what we can improve. With the right mindset and technology, our industry has a bright future.”
