At the vibrant ITMA ASIA + CITME 2025 in Singapore, Saurer Group demonstrated once again why it remains a global leader in textile machinery and innovation. The company unveiled several groundbreaking technologies that drew tremendous attention from visitors across Asia, the Middle East, and beyond.
In an exclusive discussion with Kohan Textile Journal, Mr. Cem Yalcin, Chief Sales Officer – Global Sales at Saurer Group, expressed his delight at the exhibition’s strong turnout and exceptional quality of visitors.
“I was not expecting, in times like these, that so many people would join,” said Mr. Yalcin. “The location in Singapore was wonderfully chosen. We were extremely busy — the exhibition was crowded, full of professionals, good brands, and high-end customers. It was a wonderful event.”
Innovation Takes Center Stage
Among the highlights of Saurer’s presentation was the world-premiere of the Ring Frame 351, a fully automatic machine without a gearbox, capable of reaching up to 30,000 RPM. The new model offers unprecedented energy efficiency, reliability, and production speed.
“We are proud to announce that the very first Ring Frame 351 we presented at the show was sold on the opening day to a customer from Egypt,” Mr. Yalcin revealed. “This milestone underscores the strong trust our global partners have in Saurer’s technology.”
The company also introduced several additional innovations:
- A new compact spinning system, offering higher yarn quality and reduced energy consumption.
- A next-generation open-end machine featuring dual-roller feeding that enables the production of fancy yarns directly on the open-end platform.
- An advanced carding machine with an integrated draw frame, designed to enhance automation and overall process efficiency.
A Future Driven by Technology and Trust
Throughout the exhibition, Saurer’s booth attracted significant international attention, reinforcing the brand’s reputation for engineering excellence and forward-thinking design.
“The innovation power of Saurer is huge,” Mr. Yalcin concluded. “We were very happy to see customers from all around the world enjoying our new technologies. Singapore was the perfect stage for this success.”
With its clear focus on automation, innovation, and sustainability, Saurer Group once again demonstrated its leadership in shaping the future of global textile manufacturing.
