In Borujerd city, the textile industry has a long history and is officially recognized. At the inauguration ceremony for the Borujerd projects, Farhad Ziviar addressed the media and said: “Today, the expansion plan of two cellulose complex projects in Borujerd was launched, and the development plan of Borujerd Textile Company in the stitching industry was also developed and implemented.”

The textile business is established and recognized in Borujerd city, he said. This business has generated thousands of new jobs in the weaving, spinning, dyeing, and stitching multi-sector complex in the last year.

Lorestan Textile Jobs Expand

The governor of Lorestan observed that this sector has remained robust and has not collapsed despite the challenging times of the coronavirus pandemic and that: In the initial phase, 350 new sewing-related employment were established, and currently, 100 more people are being recruited to the collection and instruction.

There are currently 1,850 textile workers in Borujerd, and that figure will soon rise to 2,000.

The Borujerd textile factory now includes a novel stage called tailoring, which is distinct from other textile factories in that it covers every aspect of the textile business.

In 1362, the Borujerd Textile Complex Company was founded in the southeast of Borujerd City, Lorestan Province, which is situated in the west of Iran, on a 50-hectare plot of land with an investment of 15 billion Rials. 5 factories are housed in a compound with 124,000 square meters of infrastructure.
