ThermoTune Expands Operations to Sri Lanka, Accelerating AI-Driven Industrial Efficiency

ThermoTune, a fast-growing innovator in AI-powered energy and heat-process optimisation, has officially launched its operations in Sri Lanka — marking an important step in supporting the country’s textile, apparel and manufacturing sectors with advanced, sustainable efficiency solutions.

The company’s technology helps factories reduce fuel consumption, optimise machine-planning, improve heat management, and significantly cut carbon emissions. With measurable savings and rapid ROI, ThermoTune aims to empower Sri Lankan manufacturers to operate with higher precision, lower costs, and greater sustainability.

Strengthening Presence with a Dedicated Local Team

At the launch event, company founders Nimantha and Radershan introduced two key members who will lead ThermoTune’s on-ground operations in Sri Lanka — combining deep industry expertise with strong commercial leadership:

  • Lasitha Balasooriya, CEng.
A specialist in manufacturing operations, process optimisation and digital transformation. Lasitha will oversee technical implementation and factory integration.
  • Ashoka D.
An experienced enterprise software sales leader with a strong background in industrial sectors including textiles, apparel and tyre manufacturing. Ashoka will drive customer engagement and commercial expansion.

Together, their expertise positions ThermoTune to support Sri Lankan factories seeking to modernise operations and transition toward cleaner, more efficient production systems.

Supporting Sri Lanka’s Journey Toward Industrial Sustainability

ThermoTune’s entry comes at a crucial time as manufacturers across Sri Lanka face rising energy costs and increasing pressure to reduce carbon emissions.
The company plans to collaborate closely with leading national institutions including:

  • Information Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA)
  • Joint Apparel Association Forum (JAAF)
  • Ministry of Digital Economy – Sri Lanka

These partnerships will support the digital transformation of local factories and enable scalable, long-term environmental impact.

“Our goal is to help Sri Lankan industries achieve meaningful fuel savings, stronger operational performance, and a more sustainable future,” the company said in a statement.

With strong demand for AI-driven optimisation technologies across Asia, ThermoTune’s expansion into Sri Lanka marks a strategic milestone — and sets the stage for broader regional growth.
