Industry Leaders Back Launch of Textiles Recycling Expo USA

The inaugural Textiles Recycling Expo USA, set to take place on April 29–30, 2026, at the Charlotte Convention Center, is already gaining strong momentum with widespread support from across the global textile recycling industry.

Momentum Builds After European Success

Following the highly successful debut of the European edition in Brussels earlier this year, exhibitors are lining up for the U.S. launch, eager to capitalize on the same international reach and professional audience.

Leading names such as Syre, Beyond Retro, Bank & Vogue, Valerius, Circ, and Debrand have confirmed participation. Syre, a Founding Exhibitor, is especially aligned with the U.S. edition as it prepares to open its first North Carolina facility with capacity to produce 10,000 metric tons of circular polyester annually. Backed by retail giants including H&M, Target, Gap, and Houdini Sportswear, Syre’s involvement underscores the event’s importance for advancing circular textile solutions.

Sponsorships and Partnerships Strengthen Expo

The event has already secured sponsorship from the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC), while ReJu will host the dedicated VIP area. Additional sponsorship opportunities remain open for companies seeking visibility at this high-profile gathering.

Partnerships with leading organizations are adding weight to the program:

  • Accelerating Circularity joins as Structural Partner, helping to shape the conference agenda around scalable textile-to-textile recycling solutions.
  • SMART (Secondary Materials and Recycled Textiles Association) has signed on as Founding Partner, bringing its expertise and advocacy to the forefront.

Further support comes from the Southern Textile Association, Fashion Takes Action, North American Linen Association, Carolina Recycling Association, Waste Advantage Magazine, Ecotextile News, TextilesLoop, Denim Deal, and Fashion United, among others.

Free Access, High-Value Content

The two-day expo will feature a dynamic exhibition floor showcasing pioneering recycling technologies and services, alongside an open conference theater with expert-led panels, keynote presentations, and interactive discussions. Admission is free, providing unparalleled opportunities for knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and building connections across the textile value chain.

Driving a Circular Future

With strong backing from industry leaders, the Textiles Recycling Expo USA is set to become a premier platform for advancing textile circularity in North America. Bringing together innovators, brands, recyclers, and policymakers under one roof, the event will accelerate collaboration and set the stage for a more sustainable textile economy.
