Electro-Jet Showcases End-to-End Spinning Automation in Egypt

Textile manufacturers are increasingly seeking automation that can improve yarn quality, raise production efficiency and reduce operating costs, according to Kleber Costa from the Sales Department of Electro-Jet.

Speaking with Kohan Textile Journal during Egypt Stitch & Tex 2026 in Cairo, Costa presented Electro-Jet’s overhead cleaners, ADR+ roving frame and automated material-handling technologies. He also discussed the company’s cooperation with Nobeltex and explained why flexibility and customised engineering have helped Spanish textile machinery manufacturers compete internationally.

Kleber Costa on Electro-Jet’s Spinning and Automation Technologies

Could you introduce Electro-Jet and its principal solutions for textile manufacturers?

The textile market is becoming more challenging every year. Manufacturers are looking for solutions that improve yarn quality, increase production speed and efficiency, automate factory operations and reduce overhead costs.

Electro-Jet provides several technologies developed around these requirements. One of our best-known product groups is overhead cleaners for spinning and weaving factories.

These systems help control contamination in the production environment, support yarn quality and reduce yarn breakages. As a result, they can contribute to higher operating efficiency in looms, ring-spinning machines and roving frames.

What production machinery does Electro-Jet offer?

Our portfolio is not limited to overhead cleaners. Electro-Jet also manufactures the ADR+ roving frame.

The ADR+ uses six-inch bobbins and can be configured with up to 256 spindles, making it one of the longest roving-frame configurations available in the market.

The machine has been tested and accepted in several important textile markets, including Egypt, Türkiye and Pakistan.

How can the ADR+ be integrated with material-handling systems?

The ADR+ can be connected to Electro-Jet’s bobbin transport system and stripping machine.

The stripping machine removes the roving remaining on bobbins so that the material can be collected separately and returned to the production process. This helps manufacturers recover usable fibre and reduce material waste.

Together, the overhead cleaner, ADR+ roving frame, bobbin transport system and stripping technology form an integrated package for spinning mills seeking greater productivity, quality and automation.

What automation solutions does Electro-Jet provide for rotor-spinning mills?

End-to-end automation is attracting increasing interest from textile manufacturers.
One of the main technologies presented at Egypt Stitch & Tex was Electro-Jet’s can transport system for rotor-spinning operations. The system connects carding machines and draw frames with rotor-spinning machines.

Automating can transport reduces dependence on manual handling and allows sliver cans to be delivered to spinning machines more quickly and consistently.

This can help mills improve production flow while reducing the labour required for repetitive internal transport operations.

Can automation continue beyond the spinning process?

Yes. Electro-Jet also offers automated palletising systems for yarn packages produced by rotor-spinning machines, winders and vortex-spinning systems.

Palletising can take place directly in front of the production machine or at a centralised station, depending on the factory layout and the customer’s requirements.

Autonomous mobile robots can then transport the palletised yarn packages between production stages, including steaming, packaging, dispatch and warehouse areas.

By connecting these processes, Electro-Jet can provide a broader automation solution covering material movement from textile production through to the final logistics stages inside the factory.

Nobeltex Supports Electro-Jet’s Presence in Egypt

How would you describe Electro-Jet’s cooperation with Nobeltex?

We are very pleased to participate in Egypt Stitch & Tex with our local partner and agent, Nobeltex.

Nobeltex serves the Egyptian market through its dedicated sales and technical teams. The company also manages logistics effectively and has developed strong connections throughout the local textile industry.

An important advantage is Nobeltex’s close relationship with customers. These relationships extend beyond commercial transactions and are built on trust developed over time.

For Electro-Jet, a strong agent must understand the market, remain close to customers and provide reliable support. Nobeltex has consistently supported us in these areas.

What is Electro-Jet’s outlook for the coming year?

We remain optimistic about 2027 and the opportunities created by textile automation.

Following Egypt Stitch & Tex, our next exhibition will be IGATEX Pakistan in Lahore, followed by ITMA Asia + CITME in Delhi. These events will allow us to continue discussing automation, production efficiency and cost reduction with textile manufacturers in major international markets.

Flexibility Drives Spanish Textile Machinery Success

Why have Spanish textile machinery manufacturers succeeded internationally?

In my opinion, one of the main reasons for the success of Spanish textile machinery manufacturers is their flexibility.

Many Spanish manufacturers are family-owned companies that do not focus exclusively on high-volume, standardised production. Instead, they understand the importance of listening to each customer and studying every project individually.

We do not treat every customer as part of a large production batch. Each project has its own factory conditions, production targets and technical requirements.

The first step is to listen to the customer. The second is to examine the project with our technicians and engineers. We then develop and present a solution corresponding to what the customer is actually seeking.

If the proposed solution does not completely satisfy the customer, we listen again and continue refining it. This flexibility and willingness to customise technologies are among the main strengths of the Spanish textile machinery industry.

Editor’s Note

This interview was conducted by Kohan Textile Journal during Egypt Stitch & Tex 2026 in Cairo. The discussion demonstrates how automation is moving beyond individual textile machines toward interconnected systems covering production, material handling, waste recovery, palletising and internal logistics.
