Pioneering Digital Printing: An Interview with Mr. Ray Qiu of Guangzhou Baoxuan Exhibition

My name is Ray, and I represent Guangzhou Baoxuan Exhibition Corporation Limited. We are the organizers of the Sign Expo and the newly launched Textile Expo. Over the past 15 years, we have specialized in organizing the Sign Expo. Recognizing that many of our exhibitors, particularly printing factories, are expanding into the textile industry, we have launched the Digital Textile Printing Expo as a new project.

Expanding into Textile Printing

Our exhibitors’ machines are well-suited for high-quality textile printing, prompting us to expand our business to include this new venture. Currently, we are organizing the Textile Expo, focusing on textile printing and embroidery machine factories. Last year, we hosted over 200 exhibitors specializing in textile printing and embroidery machines.

For next year, we anticipate over 300 exhibitors and have special offers for group visitors from overseas. Our event will include a forum on the high-quality development of the industry. Additionally, visitors can enjoy free Chinese tea in a dedicated tea area where they can relax and watch the show. We will also offer a free buffet dinner for overseas visitors, providing a taste of Cantonese cuisine.

A Growing Trend in Printing Technologies

We observe a growing trend in printing on various materials, such as paper and fabrics. Factories are expanding their production to include machines capable of printing on different materials, which is a positive development for the industry.

We are heavily investing in the textile sector and expect to showcase the latest technologies and machines at next year’s expo. We are making concerted efforts to attract visitors from all over the world, including Egypt, Turkey, Iran, and the UAE, where there is significant demand for Chinese machines, especially in digital printing and embroidery. Chinese factories are eager to do business with these regions, offering high-quality machines at competitive prices.
