Pakistan-Italy MoU to expand economic, trade cooperation

Pakistan-Italy MoU :: Pakistan and Italy recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance economic and trade cooperation in various sectors including agriculture, textile, clothing, leather, shoes, rubber, furniture, logistics, infrastructure, energy, transport, telecommunication, water and chemical products. Italy is among the top ten trading partners of Pakistan.

The MoU was signed between the Italian Trade Agency and the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan in Islamabad, according to Pakistani media reports.

Federal secretary for commerce Mohammad Younus Dhaga said Italy would extend cooperation for value addition of different sectors to boost exports.
