The 29th edition of Textile Asia, South Asia’s premier textile machinery and garment technology exhibition, officially kicks off today at the Karachi Expo Centre. Running from April 12 to 14, 2025, the event spans seven halls and is set to host more than 650 exhibitors from over 17 countries, offering an expansive platform for innovation, networking, and business development in Pakistan’s textile sector.
Organized under the theme “The Road to a Value-Added Textile Sector,” this year’s edition places a strong focus on sustainable growth, value chain enhancement, and technological transformation across the industry.
A Global Gathering of Industry Leaders
Leading brands and technology providers from China, Turkiye, Malaysia, Jordan, Germany, Italy, Japan, and Switzerland are among the international participants. The exhibition is expected to attract more than 50,000 trade visitors and over 550 international delegates, making it one of the largest B2B gatherings in the region for textile professionals.
The opening ceremony is graced by Nasir Hussain Shah, Sindh’s Minister for Energy, Planning, and Development, who acknowledged the strategic role of Textile Asia in supporting Pakistan’s industrial growth and exports.
