Pakistani Companies Shine at Heimtextil Colombia 2025

Heimtextil Colombia 2025, Latin America’s largest trade show dedicated to home and contract textiles, successfully wrapped up its second edition on April 10, after running from April 8 to 10, 2025 at Plaza Mayor Convention and Exhibition Center in Medellín. Organized under the global Heimtextil brand, the fair attracted professionals and exhibitors from across Latin America and beyond.
This year’s event brought together over 120 exhibitors, 1,400 international buyers, and nearly 4,000 industry visitors from countries including Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Panama, Ecuador, Chile, and the Dominican Republic, reaffirming the region’s growing demand for high-quality home and hospitality textiles.

Pakistan’s Strong Participation

Among the key international exhibitors were four Pakistani companies:
Classique Textile, K.B Exports, Mahee International, and Zafar Fabrics. Their product range included bed linen, kitchen textiles, terry towels, and table linen, all presented with a focus on quality, design, and export readiness.
These companies showcased Pakistan’s long-standing expertise in textile manufacturing and its global competitiveness in supplying to the hospitality, healthcare, and retail sectors. The booths attracted considerable attention from international buyers and industry professionals, creating opportunities for new collaborations and orders.
“Heimtextil Colombia offered a well-organized and vibrant environment to present our products to Latin American markets. We had productive meetings and great exposure,” said Bilal Zafar, Director of Marketing at Zafar Fabrics.

Innovation Meets Design and Sustainability

Beyond traditional displays, Heimtextil Colombia emphasized forward-looking themes. Three curated spaces stood out:
  • Creative Colombia: Highlighted textile innovations tailored for hospitality environments.
  • Kitchen by Heimtextil: Introduced future-facing kitchen linen concepts for the HORECA sector.
  • Knowledge Hub: Brought together thought leaders discussing sustainability, rural and urban living balance, and textile innovation.
These platforms turned the event into more than a trade fair — it became a space for learning, inspiration, and trendsetting.

Looking Ahead

The success of the 2025 edition reinforces Heimtextil Colombia’s position as the go-to platform for home textile professionals targeting Latin American markets. With its growing international footprint, and increasing interest from South Asian exporters like those from Pakistan, the fair continues to strengthen its global relevance.
