The newly developed Durak Laser Safe thread enables manufacturers to carry out laser applications on denim fabrics with greater confidence, durability, and efficiency.

In denim production, laser technology has rapidly become the preferred alternative to traditional stonewashing, offering a safer and more sustainable process for both workers and the environment. However, the high heat and energy generated during laser fading and design treatments often cause conventional threads to burn, break, or weaken — resulting in defective seams and reduced product quality.
Durak Tekstil’s new Laser Safe thread eliminates this issue by maintaining its strength and integrity under intense laser exposure. Tested at various laser intensities, the polyester–cotton blended thread has demonstrated up to twice the durability of competing products, ensuring that seams remain intact even during the most demanding applications.

Available in ticket sizes 30 and 50 with a variety of colors, the product is being launched initially in Türkiye, Egypt, and Pakistan, with further international markets to follow.
